Party at home!

Hi my friends! I am here again and posting my new layout:

I am entering in
(I used the word ''sparkle'' in my hidden journaling.)

with the great colour combination and the inspiring photos:

and
This was the amazing sketch of OUAS, designed by Nadia  Canizzo:

The theme of OUAS 's challenge was home.
I decided to interpret the theme in a different way, than the usual, so I used some photos from our first party at home. 2 days before our wedding we had a party at our new home, we call it ''the making up of the wedding bed'' here in Greece. This celebration is a tradition just a few days before the wedding: The couple that is going to be married  invites close friends and relatives at the house where they are going to live! The unmarried ladies make up the bed with new and impressive quilts and then the guests put money on the bed, they also put rice and rose petals for luck! Αt the end they also put a baby on the bed for luck and fertility to the couple!
So, we had this traditional celebration and then we had a fabulus buffet dinner that my mother made. And we danced until morning. In the first photo you can see me and my husband in our bedroom, you may see the flowers and the money on the bed. In the second photo I dance  a greek traditional dance, called ''zeibekiko''.
The papers are K & Company and Kaiser Craft.

Some close ups:

I have hidden my journaling in a littlle ''present''. The butterfly downside is heat embossed.
It reads:
We had our first party at home 2 days before our wedding, it was a really a great party!
First of all we kept the greek custom: The unmarried young ladies ''made up'' the bed and  the groom did a mess on it, so the ladies had to make up it again! Finally the guests put money, rice and rose petals on it! And also a baby boy and a baby girl !
We had so much fun, we eat, drought and danced until morning, it was a sparkling night!

I hope you like it!
Hugs!

My calm kid

Hello everyone!
Today I am posting about my new layout for CSI 's 13th challenge .

This was the challenge:
The papers are My mind 's eye (Be amazing and Be happy collections), Bo Bunny (Et cetera collection), K & Company and a scrap of a pizza box.
I made a lo about my son, I used a photo in which he looks so quiet...
I have hidden my little journaling  in a booklet, which  I binded with twine.

It reads:
He is not what he seems...
He is very naughty and enjoyes making noise!

Map print, twine,  pinwheels and spiral flowers, as the challenge asked:

I put some very small hearts on the right of the pinwheel, I misted and sewed:

Sewing again and masking:
A paper border:

A stamp:

I hope you like it!
Kisses!
